Please forward to your contacts. We are currently recruiting for the
following position at the Muslim Women's Language School:


*Marketing Officer*

·         2 - 4 hours per week

·         Great Islamic women-only working environment!

The Muslim Women’s Language School is currently seeking a motivated sister
to work as our Marketing Officer.

We need someone to hit the ground running and assist us in marketing our
school, courses and programs to the Muslim community.

*Duties will include:*

·         Develop and implement marketing strategies for our courses and
school

·         Co-ordinate the development of promotional materials and their
distribution

·         Establish relationships within the Muslim community, for example
with mosques, Islamic centres, schools, prayer rooms and businesses

·         Assist with other areas of the school where necessary



*The successful candidate’s attributes:*

·         Experience of working/volunteering in a marketing role OR
knowledge of marketing theory gained through study

·         Confidence in their exceptional communication and people skills

·         A motivated self-starter who has the initiative to get things off
the ground and follow through to completion

·         Ability to work unsupervised

·         Fluent in English, proficiency in Arabic or another community
language is highly desirable

·         Knowledge of the Melbourne Muslim community

·         Personal integrity and values

·         Own transport

·         Female


*About our school *

The Muslim Women’s Language School is part of the Melbourne Women’s English
Institute, and incorporates the Muslim Children’s Language School and the
Muslim Girl’s Club. The school is established and ran on Islamic values and
practices and is run by women for women. Some of these practices include
good manners, modest dress, care and respect for each other, honesty and
integrity. The school is located in Preston in the northern suburbs of
Melbourne.
